The market is diversified into many groups. The poorer consumer group will tend to buy products that cost less for basic necessities. As people get wealthier, they’re considering more factors, such as product characteristics, performance, safety, health, and potential environmental impact. Biodegradable products are the standard for a better life, as they're cleaner, safer, healthier, renewable, and cause no environmental harm.
In China, factories that produce biodegradable products sell their products instantly, with strong demand everywhere and at all times. The market there could serve as a global standard, as it has characteristics common to markets worldwide. People prefer biodegradable products not only for environmental protection but also because of rising personal consumption standards.
The world’s cheapest product could be as hard to sell as the most expensive products; for example, rubbish could be considered as a kind of product, even if you sell it without money, nobody wants it. Customers buy value, not the price. The lower price is not something customers will always buy. You make your goods more valuable, more competitive, customers pay for them to serve their lives, that’s the nature they want the products.
Do you want to sell your products cheaply? But there is a limit, the utmost price to sell is at zero cost, even though customers still want more valuable products, products that could bring them more benefit, products that are easier and better to serve their life, they will pay for it. If you understand the logic, you will know how important it is to increase your product value, which is why the most successful companies sell their product not at the lowest price but on unbeatable quality.
When we say there is significant demand for biodegradable markets, we do not mean all of them. Because no product can target all markets, they account for only a small share of even the biggest-selling products. Biodegradable products are intended to replace paper and plastics, but not all roles, because we still want products for eternity, we want products like paper. However, when it comes to food and drinks, neither paper nor plastic can compare with biodegradable products. Biodegradable dishes can contain water, do not leach microplastics, and can decompose fast; this is what we want.
China has the world's largest population; every day, at least half of the families need to shop. Shopping bags are a significant source of consumption for all kinds of food, vegetables, and merchandise. The environmental pollution caused by plastic use could be reduced by using biodegradable bags.
Primitive peoples lived with self-made tools made of wood and stone. People start to buy goods at a cost when there is a civilization. People pay higher fees to get better materials as civilization advances. Replacing plastics with biodegradable materials is an advancement in people’s lives.
